This Saturday, we’re showing the movie, Forks Over Knives, free of charge. To find more information a
bout this event click here.
As an added bonus, however, we’ve been invited to attend a guest lecture at the University of Pennsylvania to hear Dr. Colin Campbell, an instrumental powering force behind the movie Forks Over Knives, speak about the growing plant-based health revolution.
Dr. Campbell is Cornell University’s Jacob Gould Schurman Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry. He is the world’s foremost authority on nutrition’s role in the reversal of cancer, diabetes and other chronic diseases.
Dr. Campbell’s information is relevant for health care providers, practitioners, researchers, faculty, trustees and administrators with an interest in the use of dietary intervention for the reversal of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, certain cancers and other chronic conditions. His message is also pertinent for those desiring to restore their own medically ideal health and weight.
There is a $10 fee for general members of the public who attend Dr. Campbell’s lecture and all proceeds from t
he sale of seats will benefit two non-profit organizations: BeatCancer.org in Wynnewood, PA and The American College of Lifestyle Medicine Foundation in Woodburn, OR.
