This past weekend, the Swarthmore Co-op packed up the SwaCoop van and headed across the Ben Franklin Bridge to the Camden Waterfront for WXPN’s XPoNential Festival! It was a great weekend filled with good music and local food. Take a look at some of our pictures to relive the experience!
Friday, we featured a local pasta salad; Severino pasta, Vesper Bros. classic sauce, local kale, and Martin’s pork sausage.
Barsy’s almonds were a hit all weekend long! We bagged them for the festival, but they can usually be found in our bulk aisle for $11.99/lb.
Saturday, we brought out the sweets with a variety of Classic Cakes from Cherry Hill, NJ. Local chips provided by Joe’s (the same “Joe” from Joe Tea!) and Herr’s were also sampled. Later on, we cracked open some Mash fruit drinks and Bruce Cost’s Ginger Ales.
We whipped up some tattoos and pins as a special treat for the festival. If you couldn’t make it across the Ben Franklin last weekend, be sure to stop by the Co-op on the next Membership Appreciation Day to pick some up!
